Photography: Branches of the North Bay

Taken over the course of three weeks during the holiday season of 2022. Initially, I didn't have much of a goal in mind when taking photos back home—mainly just to capture the bits and pieces of nature that excited me or (I suspected) would ultimately make me nostalgic. Very quickly, though, a common thread emerged: using trees as the main characters, the models, and the source of motion guiding the viewer's eye around the frame. Shot on Portra 400 with an Olympus OM–1n and a 28mm lens.
